As a collector of some older items, I know firsthand how rare limited theatre and lottery items can get. So I quickly snatched up every item I could for Shaymin as they came out, and it was worth every cent. Some of my favorite items are under this category!

Pokémon Daisuki Club 2008
Easily the largest Land Forme Shaymin plush made, it is also the rarest. Only given out as a prize from the official Pokémon fanclub, Pokémon Daisuki Club, few were made. (The exact number I can't remember, possibly 100 or even 500.) It also has a very distinctive and unique look among Shaymin plush, so this guy isn't easy to miss. The congratulatory letter dates the month they were awarded, October 2008.

This adorable denim child's purse was the winning design in a design contest held by Ciao Magazine in commemoration of movie 11 in 2008. It also comes with the same enameled mini metal charm sold at the Pokémon Centers at the time!

Along with other promotional merchandise, theatres in Japan sold special, gorgeous programs of the featured movie. These programs feature gorgeous full-color pages, glossy covers with holographic accents, behind the scenes information about the movie, and perhaps best of all, complete lists of all the theatre promotional merchandise released for that movie.

A child's size popcorn box with a neckstrap featuring the main Pokémon from movie 11. Pikachu and Land Forme Shaymin are molded into the lid, and the back features a dynamic illustration of Sky Forme Shaymin and Giratina.

Unlike the 7-11 Bento promotional figure that slightly preceded it, this special Shaymin MC figure is plainly clear, rather than having tiny bubbles within the plastic. Because of this, it's easy to tell the two apart when out of their packaging.

Another theatre merchandise staple, these enameled metal keychains are quite a bit bigger than the ones from past movies. This keychain features Land Forme Shaymin, Origin Forme Giratina, and Regigigas charms that are detachable.

The "cosplay" items sold at theatres during a Pokémon movie's run tend to be the rarest and most sought of all the items sold. This gorgeous, heavy metal Glacidea Flower locket is certainly no exception, selling out fast even while the movie was still playing. You can cut out the portraits of Pokémon on the packaging to put inside the locket; I opted to copy the packaging onto glossy photo paper and cut out the Shaymin that way to avoid ruining it. The locket stays securely shut with a magnet.

This beautiful (and quite large!) keychain lights up and shows an image of Giratina in the Reverse World! Easily one of the more unique keychains I've seen, and just amazing in person.

An adorable small plush keychain, which really seems to match the non-limited but also sold at theatres Takara Tomy talking Shaymin plush. Definitely better quality than similar ballchain Banpresto plush keychains, too.

Along with the metal keychains, theatre promotional figure pens have also gotten bigger in recent years. They look a lot more comfortable to write with as well! This pen also came in a second color scheme, where the colors of the clip and padding near the tip are reversed (pink and green rather than green and pink respectively).

Believe it or not, these adorable little charms are among the hardest to get of theatre merchandise from movie 11 onwards, due to being both blind-packaged and having large sets. (Also THREE secret rares!) I'm very fortunate to have this adorable little charm.

This figure was given out along with special Pokémon lunches (bentou) that you could pre-order at 7-11 during the summer movie 11 was shown. Unlike the version sold at theatres, there are tiny bubbles in the clear plastic, hence the "clear rame" in the name. The special Pokémon bentou also came with chopsticks and wrapped in a large handkerchief (the lunchbox itself was cardboard and thus had to be thrown away), which I hope to eventually get.

As a sort-of goodbye to Diamond and Pearl, Pokémon Centers allowed you to choose from one metallic version MC figure of each Sinnoh Legendary Pokémon if you spent a certain amount. Unlike the previous metallic figure, this one has more of a shiny pearly sheen than metallic.
